The Fraternal Order of Eagles #772 in Wellsville donated $3,000 to the Summit Educational Foundation last month. The contribution will be used to benefit students in Ohio’s 18 Summit Academy Schools.

Kyle Baldwin, Coordinator of Enrollment and Fundraising for Summit Academy, says Summit Academy Schools’ positive impact on children with ADHD and autism struck a chord with a chapter member, moving him to request approval of the donation from the chapter’s Board of Directors.

“That personal connection seemed to resonate strongly,” Baldwin says.

The donation will support learning environments for Summit Academy students, helping them to grow, explore and thrive academically and in life overall, explains Baldwin.

“The Fraternal Order of Eagles’ generous donation means the world to the Summit Educational Foundation. Support like this allows us to continue serving students and schools across our network and reminds us that our communities truly care about creating meaningful opportunities for students with special needs,” Baldwin says. “We’re incredibly grateful to have partners who believe in our mission and stand alongside our students and schools.”

A charitable organization with hundreds of thousands of members across the United States and Canada, the Fraternal Order of Eagles is dedicated to community support. According to website sources, the Fraternal Order of Eagles has contributed nearly $10 million to charitable causes since its 1898 founding. The Summit Educational Foundation and Summit Academy Schools are honored to be among its recipients, says Baldwin.
