Summit Academy Schools build hope, success, and well-being through education and advocacy for children with special needs.

Summit Academy Community School for Alternative Learners- Xenia serves grades K-12. Our school provides a professional learning environment through individualized instruction by examining student data to promote life-long learners. Our students strive to have “Falcon Days” in honor of our mascot the Falcon, by SOARing through school with safe choices, open and honest feedback, always participating and showing respect.

Engaging With the Students

We have a team of highly qualified, specialized instructors that are able to work closely with each student to become familiar with how they learn and monitor their progress. Xenia Elementary caters to the special needs of our students. The specialized staff members of our school include:

  • Behavior specialist who is a licensed school counselor
  • Speech and OT available full-time throughout the school day
  • Intervention Specialist in each classroom with a state of Ohio licensed teacher
  • Teachers who specialize in Special Education

Providing For the Whole Child

Our school realizes that it is important to give a child a well-rounded learning experience, which is why we host many family and extracurricular events so that the students are fulfilled in multiple areas of their lives. These events include:

Summit Academy Schools provide a structured safe-haven for alternative learners. Compassionate teachers deliver highly specialized curriculum designed to engage children where they are developmentally. With a therapeutic approach, Summit Academy Schools are a non-profit that foster belonging and social acceptance for every child.

 

All Summit Academy Schools are tuition-free, non-profit community schools for alternative learners. They are specifically designed for students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and related disorders. This school is a non-profit school 501(c) (3).
