Reporting Missing Children in Ohio

• Ohio Missing Persons Unit (MPU) has a toll-free hotline, 800-325-5604, to field calls from law enforcement, parents, community members, and the media. The hotline is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Reporting Missing Children to Your School 

• Under Ohio’s “Missing Child Law,” parents or guardians must notify the school by the morning of any school day their child is not attending.
