Summit Academy welcomes Operations Manager Matt Germann. In his new role, Germann oversees facilities, and health, safety and security for Summit Academy Schools.
Germann says the collective vision he shares with Summit Academy Management’s leadership team — to ensure safe, professional and respectful environments for all — attracted him to Summit Academy.
“What also intrigued me was the structure here,” says Germann, who says he looks forward to applying his team-building skills to further enhance Summit Academy’s operations.
Prior to joining Summit Academy, Germann served as the support services supervisor for the Crestwood Local School District for three years. At Crestwood, Germann oversaw maintenance and facilities operations and a team of more than a dozen. Earlier, he served in a similar capacity for the Aurora Parks and Recreation Department for 15 years.
Germann and his wife live in Rootstown. They have four adult children.
