Spirit Week delivered heaps of holiday cheer and fellowship at Summit Academy Community School – Warren this week. Children and staff, costumed as elves, reindeer and even Santa Claus,
brought the season’s festive feel to life.
“Holiday Spirit Week has brought a strong sense of unity and positivity to our school community,” says Principal Amanda McGinnis. “It’s created an atmosphere of excitement and joy, giving students and staff something fun to look forward to during this busy time of the year.”
The week’s holiday festivities started with a Merry and Bright theme on Monday. To suit the occasion, students and staff wore cheerful red, green and holiday-themed outfits. Tuesday brought a cozy Christmas feel with children and teachers sporting holiday hats, scarves, socks and headbands. On
Deck the Halls Day Wednesday, children and teachers dressed as elves, the Grinch, reindeer and even Santa Claus. Thursday wrapped up the week with Comfy Christmas Pajama Day and a continuation of the school’s cohesive
spirit sure to endure long after the holidays.
“Participating in themed days encourages school spirit, creativity and inclusivity, helping everyone feel more connected,” says McGinnis.
