Summit Academy welcomes new Safety and Security Coordinator Logan Moore. He brings more than 10 years of operations experience in safety and security, process improvement, risk assessment and contract negotiation to Summit Academy.

“For my team and I, the safety, security and well-being of our students, staff, families and all visitors for each of our schools is our only priority. I am fully committed to bettering and adding to the already safe and supportive environment where everyone feels protected and respected,” Moore says.  “Every day we are working hard to strengthen our safety protocols, collaborate with local authorities and engage in our local school communities.”

Moore joins SAM after most recently serving as a senior security manager for MGM Northfield. Prior, he held posts at AM-Gard, Inc. in Pittsburgh, Moore Care in Kensington and Darko Inc. in Bedford where he served as the manager of compliance, safety and security — among others. Moore earned his Bachelor of Arts from Walsh University and MBA from Tiffin University.

“I am pleased to welcome Logan as Summit’s new Safety and Security Coordinator. His experience in safety and security as well as compliance will bring value to the team,” says Director of School/Sponsor Relations and Compliance Jacci Gilliland.

In his free time, Moore says he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two children, cooking and baking, watching movies outdoors and traveling to visit family. Moore is a woodworker, powerlifter, college football fan, puzzle solver and outdoor enthusiast.
