Laughter, music, creativity and community spirit were all in full swing at the Paint & Sip Fundraiser held on Saturday, August 2 at King Sportsman in Akron. The event welcomed 40 participants and successfully raised nearly $1,500 to support Cassy Cross, a Summit Academy Akron Middle School teacher, and her son, Holden.
Guests of all painting skill levels gathered for an evening of artistic fun, snacks and drinks—all for a great cause. Each participant received painting supplies, a complimentary drink ticket, and plenty of encouragement to let their creativity flow.
In addition to painting, attendees enjoyed lively games and interactive fun. A crowd favorite was the playful competition
to determine who danced best to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” which had the 
whole crowd cheering. Guests also participated in a game of Heads or Tails, and eagerly bought $1 beads to support the fundraiser, adding a fun and festive flair to the night.
The Paint & Sip event not only provided a platform for people to express their inner artist but also made a meaningful impact through fundraising.
