Local families with children entering kindergarten in fall 2022 invited to attend
fun-filled, informative two-hour affair
Summit Academy – Toledo will host Kindergartener for a Day on Friday, May 13 at the school, 301 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo. Interested families can select one of two sessions on May 13: 9-11 a.m. or 12 noon-2 p.m.
During the event, children and their families will participate in an art activity, settle into story time and enjoy a snack. They also will have a chance to meet and talk with Principal Marquita Murphy and kindergarten teachers, tour the school and visit a classroom.
“We want families to experience our wonderful school, meet our amazing teachers and join our Summit Academy family,” says Principal Murphy. “Our Kindergartener for a Day event will definitely give families and children a good sense of what it’s like to be a Summit Academy student.”
For more information about the event, call the school’s main office at 419-243-1815.
Summit Academy – Toledo maintains a low student/teacher ratio to meet the special education needs of students who learn differently, such as those with autism and ADHD. With two teachers in each classroom, including a highly qualified intervention specialist and general education teacher, instructors teach children from where they are developmentally, in a close-knit and nurturing environment in which students thrive. Summit Academy – Toledo is a tuition-free community school serving students in grades K-12.
