Summit Academy Management welcomes Robert “Rob” Stohlman as the Director of Facilities. Rob brings experience in both the K-12 education sector as well as private industry.

Prior to joining Summit Academy, Rob served as the Strategic Relations and Partnerships Manager for the Willoughby-Eastlake City School District. In this capacity he was a member of the District Leadership Team, which was charged with construction management to open three new schools. He also managed strategic community and business partnerships; evaluated business technology systems within the school district; delivered software solutions to address district-wide issues; and supervised operative functions of the district and public-shared spaces. Earlier with the school district, he served as the Director of Theatre and Performing Arts.

Rob was previously the Vice President of Sales, Manufacturing and Operations for Service Stampings Inc. in Willoughby for 11 years. Beforehand, he was an entrepreneur, launching Superior Services, a startup enterprise offering general contracting, building maintenance, custodial services, commercial cleaning and beverage services. In addition, as a community volunteer, Rob has held several leadership roles including those of PTA president, Booster president and volunteer coach. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Heidelberg College.

Rob aspires to making a positive difference for Summit Academy students, staff and leadership. He brings with him the philosophy that properly maintained facilities play an important role in educating the whole child.
