S.T.R.E.A.M. Course description
S.T.R.E.A.M. class will elaborate on the fundamental concepts of biology, life sciences, earth and space sciences, marine and aquatic life and zoology, as they relate to increasingly complex systems and applications that will provide a foundation for further study in science and scientific literacy. Students engage in independent investigations to further understand these concepts in a variety of inquiry and design scenarios that incorporate science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, math and music.
❖ Remember this is a yearlong class for ALL students who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of the sciences.
Materials: Each student needs for SCIENCE CLASS ONLY:
-Filler (loose Leaf) paper
-Pencils Black or Blue pens may be used at certain times but you will use Pencils most of the time
So what are we learning?
S.T.R.E.A.M. is a newly created curriculum by Mr. Davis that explores all of the science disciplines and delves deeper into understanding the concepts with varying levels of challenges for the students. This is an independent course that allows the student to self-manage their progress.
S.T.R.E.A.M. Basics!
1. Be ready to do your best and participate fully in all activities.
2. Have all materials ready and be in your seat at the start of class.
● When you enter the room pick up your student chromebook
● Go to your assigned seat
● Log in to your weekly assignment and begin working
3. Be prepared to challenge YOURSELF and HAVE FUN!
Grading Policy All work is graded for content NOT completion, unless I decide otherwise, due to class completion or other type of activities
