Eric Jones (School Board President)
Mr. Jones has been part of Summit Academy Youngstown Elementary’s board since 2010, serving as the board President. His dedication to education is what brought him on as a board member and to assist with policies to ensure the best edducation for our students. Mr. Jones owns his own landscaping company here in Youngstown where he was raised.

Amber Bodrick (School Board Vice President)
Ms. Bodrick sits on our Summit Academy Youngstown Elementary board as our Vice President. Eight years ago, when Amber joined the Summit Academy Board, she was looking for an opportunity to work with kids outside of Youngstown City Schools. Amber is a resident of the Southside of Youngstown where she grew up and attended Mooney High School and then moved on to postsecondary education at Thiel College. She has a 3 year old son named Bakari that keeps her very active. Currently, Amber is the Director of Compliance for the City of Youngstown.

Kendra Godiciu (School Board Secretary)
Ms. Godiciu is currently on the Summit Academy School Board as the Board Secretary. She has been on the school board for 8 years. Her journey to become a board member was embraced by a friend that was a parent of a Summit Academy student. Kendra stayed on, as a board member, long after the student graduated from Summit Academy. As a career, Kendra is an art teacher for Warren City Schools where she teachers grades 2-8 and has been teaching for 10 years. She currently is working on a second degree in counseling where she would like to put that degree to use in an educational setting as a guidance counselor.

Joe Gagliano (School Board Member)
Mr. Gagliano became a board member of Summit Academy Youngstown Elementary during the 2011/2012 school year. He was given the opportunity to become a board member by a friend that was seeking out members for the school board in the Youngstown/Warren area. Joe grew up on the eastside of Warren, where he attended Warren G. Harding High School, and is still a resident of Warren. Mr. Gagliano is married with two daughters that are in 1st and 2nd grades. As a profession, he works for a medical supply company and owns a local tax company.

Nicole Forte (School Board Member)
For the past 3.5years, Mrs. Forte has been a part of the Summit Academy Youngstown Elementary board. The opportunity arose for her to become a board member because she was potentially going to enroll her son as a student at Summit Academy Schools. For the past 5.5 years, Mrs. Forte has been employed in the finance department in the City of Warren where she utilizes her business degree in accounting. She is currently living in Howland where she attended high school. Mrs. Forte’s family consists of 5 children ages: 22, 17, 16, 10 and 6.
