A small group of innovative Summit Academy students work together to create parachutes as part of a STEM activity.

Summit Academy Community School for Alternative Learners – Xenia has a few remaining openings for passionate educators. The school, which centers on small-group learning, serves students in grades K-12. Summit Academy specializes in teaching children who learn differently, such as those with autism or ADHD.

“We are seeking compassionate educators who want to make a difference in the lives of diverse learners,” says Principal Marissa Raux, adding that teachers instruct students in small groups to meet their academic and social-emotional needs.

Open positions include those for middle school English and math teachers, high school science and English teachers, intervention specialists, a K-12 art teacher, and third- and fourth-grade teachers.
