Students and staff from Summit Academy Akron Middle and Secondary Schools competed in the Second Annual STEM School Challenge on Friday, May 27 at Derby Downs in Akron. STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and math.
In addition to Summit Academy Schools, the race participants included students from the National Inventors Hall of Fame School, Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts, Revere and Copley school districts.
